4 Easy Headwraps Styles | Headwrap Tutorial

Summer is loading and outside seems to be opening up for more people. Once the temperature goes up here in Texas, so do my locs! If you do not already know, I love headwraps! They are such a great option for styling hair.

This Spring/Summer I have seen so many beautiful people adding bright and bold colours to their wardrobes to bring in the new season and I am here for it! Not all of us (yes, myself included) are that confident to wear bright colours, so experimenting with various fabrics can be a great way to start. Wraps have such a long and rich history (check out my previous post about that here). Some people can be intimidated by them but they do not have to be elaborate in style. For the most part, I often go for a quick and easy wrap that can be done in about 5 minutes.

This bright orange wrap is one of my favs (often used as my pop of colour for a simple outfit). Check out my tutorial of 4 styles that anyone can master. Pick a wrap or scarf and get practising!

Lovely styles! What fabric is best to use for head wraps? ..i often use lightweight scarfs for bedtime…but feel they won’t work for daytime wraps.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the syles. I find that cotton (or cotton blend) works well as it can be manipulated easily without slipping and sliding much. Give it a try and let me know how it goes
